I'm a new player and I just purchased the the Field of Glory and the new Wolves of the Sea battle pack.
I am very interested in a battle pack featuring the battles of Alexander the Great. Which battle pack should I purchase?
Thank you.

Ah, so, Immortal Fire will work with the new and just released FoG?
Re: Battles of Alexander the Great
all the expansions are pre-loaded in the new version. when you buy, you are given the serial number to unlock them. look for the 'serial numbers' tab in the main menu.
Re: Battles of Alexander the Great
I have the Immortal Fire pack, but, this doesn't include all of Alexander's battles. Where can I find more? My main interest in ancients is the battles of Alexander the Great.
Re: Battles of Alexander the Great

you may want to pm him for the files for the new version and how to install them.

Re: Battles of Alexander the Great
There's another post that says how you can easily mass convert old scenarios. http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 92&t=72881
So you could download them yourself.
Create a folder called _Convert in your .../FoG_Unity_Data folder.
Press tilde to bring up the console in the game, press Right-ALT +F5, and it converts all of them. Then copy all of those to your .../SavedScenarios folder. Then they all show up as select-able scenarios in game. They are obviously labeled so you can distinguish which are his custom scenarios.
Lastly for my own notes, here is the list from that old PC game "Great Battles of Alexander"
Chaeronea 338 BC (included with FoG, and custom)
Lyginus River 335 BC (included with FoG)
Pelium December 335 BC -can't find
Granicus 334 BC (in custom link)
Issus 333 BC (in custom link)
Gaugamela 331 BC (included with FoG, and custom)
Jaxartes 329 BC (in custom link)
Samarkand 329 BC -can't find
Arigaeum 327 BC -can't find
Hydaspes 326 BC (Rise of Rome, and custom)
Paraitacene 317 BC (included with FoG)
I could only get Chaeronea and Gaugamela to convert. Maybe I am missing add-ons or maybe the others are not the same. The error messages I got did not say anything helpful.

Re: Battles of Alexander the Great
Thanks!
AND, I will add that over on the GoG gaming platform, not only is Great Battles of Alexander the Great available for PC play, but also the Caesar and Hannibal games. All three of these games are computer versions of the board wargames designed by Richard Berg.
All three of these games are CHEAP and will run on any computer.
