Endless Replay

I am playing a MP game which has successfully played 4 turns.

On turn 5, my opponent's turn 'Replayed' and then reported that the replay was ended. I wasn't able to select any of my units although the interface seemed to work in all other respects.

After waiting for some time (5 mins, maybe?) I quit the game and reloaded it. This time the game 'Replayed' but never ended and never gave me control. After another long wait I tried again, quitting and reloading, with the same result.

I waited until I had a turn in another game and played that without problem and then retried the faulty game with no success. Subsequent attempts have met the same fate - the Reply never ends and so I am unable to take my turn.

This afternoon I left it for 3 hours in this state and the Replay' still didn't end.

At the top of the screen it reports it's in Phase 1, and the game instance is: 45946.

same thing happened to me in the Caesar vs the Belgae scenario
