Unable to attach Commander Jason Ward

Unable to attach Commander Jason Ward to an air unit both during Coral Sea scenario and at start of Midway. Selecting him and right-clicking on unit does nothing. This is the first time I've had this issue, have updated game to 2.6.7b. Have closed/restarted game, rebooted laptop, no change.

Did the 2.6.7c update and even restarted the Coral Sea scenario, same problem.

Yes!!!! Same problem. I thought I was going crazy. I am using the Steam version.

Not using the Steam version here but sort of good to know it's not only me seeing this. The naval commander I'm having no problem with.......

Update: Playing the Midway scenario I was able to earn/attach the 2nd air commander to a tactical bomber unit w/no problem. So definitely an issue w/Ward commander. I noticed on the graphic when you try to attach there's a 0 value where you normally see a 10.

Is there an ETA on a fix? I'm getting annoyed by Jason Ward taunting me as my F4F unit struggles for control of the skies over Guadalcanal.

prataa, I agree. Right now it's pretty pointless to continue playing with an unusable asset, very frustrating.
