I am starting this thread so the official mod thread does not get cluttered, making it hard to keep track of official announcements, like the recent July 14, 2016 patch.

First comment: The model ships for the Empire in tactical battle are too big. They make it hard to control or tell where ships really are. And some of the models for several of the races are too small. Can you "equalize" the sizes some?

You can edit the ships body sizes if you want by your self.

The point from the sizes is the mod is realism according to the Star Wars universe, all them uses the same scale and their sizes is fully realistic, the unique exceptions can be the things as the Death Star because the game does not accept nothing bigger.

Editing...OK. What files and where are they? This is pretty important. The more battles I fight the more unwieldy the Empire's big ships seem, from a battle management point of view.

ShipBody.all and the line game_resolution. Probably you must add a additional BattleMov from a bigger resolution. Do not worry, all the models, even if they do not use it in the mod, they have 256 and 512 additional movies from them. You can search around the files.

For end, if you want share the file with other players, you can attach it here where I can add it as a special addon or upload it at one site where other people can download it.

That's a bit much for me. I'll have to let someone else do it. The battlefield icon size is becoming a major issue for me. Fielding 30 or 40 of those big things makes the battle no fun to manage at all. I think you have made a mistake with them. I find myself looking to build ships based on their battlefield map footprint. And in "real life" out in space, this size issue would be irrelevant due to the vast distances involved. Having the icons so large relative to others in the game just for "scale" really does not make sense, especially when it is so detrimental to game-play.

I may have to figure out how to uninstall the wonderful monster mod....and just as I scouted Polaris.

I don't know if this helps or not but to edit the scale I believe (based on what Nomada Firefox said) you need to go to the Polaris_Sector_Alliance directory at \Steam\SteamApps\common\Polaris Sector\Polaris_Sector_Alliance\. In there is a file called 'ShipBody.all'. You can open this with any text editor.

If you don't know the name of the ship type you are looking for it may help to match it to the top-down design view. These can be found in ...\Polaris_Sector_Alliance\Ships\Top. For example you might be wanting to change the battle scale of the EV_Dominator.

Search in the text file for the ship class (eg. 'Dominator'). There is a line in the ship description that says:

If you want the ship scale in the battles I think you would change this accordingly (320 240 for half size as an example). I'm not sure if you would need to change anything else.

By the way, I haven't tried this but I think it would work. :)

I may have to figure out how to uninstall the wonderful monster mod....and just as I scouted Polaris.
Uninstall the mod without delete everything is very easy. Just edit the remember.cfg at ..\Documents\My Games\Polaris Sector\.. and add // to the begining from the line CurrentModPath "Polaris_Sector_Alliance/"

After edit it, you will see some like this.
