how to put units asleep

Post by Vorskl »

How to put units sleeping for several turns?
I am playing the Pacific campaign, often there are supply ships that I don't want to deal with - they should just stay. However each time I click 'next active unit' supply ships come again and again. I only found a possibility to put them 'asleep' for one turn. Any way to do it for a longer time?

I've only done it with ground units but a 2nd click on the same button should show a zzz over them and put them down indefinitely.

I believe that you can just press the "Z" key, when the unit is selected, to sequence it through the following states:

Active -> Sleep (1 turn) -> Sleep (indefinitely) -> Active -> etc.
