AI armies in custom battles

For now in custom battles armies, including AI, start with far from perfect formation - cavalry on one flank, light infantry on another, and while player has an opportunity to place his troops as he wishes, AI never does it (in my experience with new FoG). Are there any plans to fix it in later patches?

I also noticed that for custom battles there is type of AI and bonus for one or another side, but they are grey and non-clickable. Will it be changed with patches?

And the last - maybe there is some info if we'll get new editor soon?
