I must apologize I have misreported, and received word that it is Hollowlolo who won the match up against Argotelu.

Congratulations Hollowlolo and I apologize for the inaccurate report, I misread one of your messages to me.

So that means only the results for Mkoki77 vs Wolfslair is left to check in for the round 4 matches.

Then I can set up round 5 matches.

I really really enjoyed playing beta American Grand Campaign, but it has been so wonderful to return to my true love which is MP.

OK Time is up...

Need to set up Round 5, I feel bad for Wolfslair and his hardship of having trouble accessing Multiplayer but we are now mid year and need to move on with this tournament.

This now leaves 3 players in the less fortunate circle who will be competing to come back and have a final challenge against Naxor.

The 3 players:
RAG116
Mkoki
Hollowlolo

So I cannot think of a better way for all 3 of you to battle but to have you battle in:
War Games
The balanced scenario on Regular game.
So...
RAG116 vs. Mkoki War Games
RAG116 vs. Hollowlolo War Games
Mkoki vs. Hollowlolo War Games

So whoever wins both matches will get to face Naxor in a final showdown.
For example:
If RAG116 is able to beat Hollowlolo on their match and Mkoki on their match then he will get final showdown with Naxor.

I hope that makes sense, if not let me know.

Password as always will be:
tournament

Now go out there and give it your best.
I look forward to the results.

ok, final report from War Games..2-0 against Rag 116..i got a feeling that brits are in big favor in this map (especially if they form a line with churchils in the north and upgrade all aux infantry to HW)..but if developers publish War Games as balanced then who am I to argue :)) i havent been heard from holo since you posted the challenge

Ok I have been waiting far too long to post this the idea for the FINAL ROUND for the Multiplayer Champion Tournament 2016.

Here is what I propose for the final battle between Mkoki and Naxor.
Mkoki pick one battle to play.
Naxor pick one battle to play.

Caveat: It cannot be a match that has already been played in this tournament.

So this means these are the scenarios that are excluded from consideration:
Poland
Steamroller vs. Steel
Low Countries
Hylan Valley
Dnieper
Urban Warfare
Desert Squadrons
France
Partisan Uprising
Kursk
Norway
Frozen North
Rush to Moscow
Sonnenblume 45
Barbarossa
Spoils of War
War Games

You will each set up the paired game with undo off
Password
tournament

Mkoki you have your work cut out for you as Naxor has not lost yet.
If you beat him in both scenarios then Mkoki will be declared the 2016 Champion and bestowed the honor of being a Field Marshall ;)

If Naxor wins 1 match up and loses the other then he will still be declared the 2016 Champion and retain the title of Field Marshall baton. ;)

IF Naxor wins both matches he will be declared the 2016 Champion and promoted to Chief of Staff.

Ok, ok I know it is corny but so is grown men playing a sandbox war game.

Congratulations to both of you for making it this far and blessings on your endeavors.

Ok The final word is out.

Naxor reported to me the results this weekend.

Naxor won both of his matches in Return to Kiev.
Mkoki won both matches in Blood and Sand.

Although one of their matches in Blood and Sand did the ole switcheroo thing that has been plaguing multiplayer. :?

Naxor conceded that Mkoki was going to win both matches.

That means the final results are Naxor is the ultimate winner of the Multiplayer Champion Tournament 2016, but he does not get the promotion to Chief of Staff.

I believe that this tournament came down to the best 2 players I have ever had the honor of playing.
Well done both of you, Mkoki and Naxor are 2 of the best players this game has to offer and my hat is off to you both.

So with the conclusion of this tournament, this leads me to another question.

I have had it suggested to me to get the developers to start promoting these tournaments. I would love to get some cross platform promotion of these things with the help of some Matrix/Slitherine promotion these tournaments could become much larger.

Who would I contact to see if we could get some assistance with this endeavor?

Lastly, any ideas on what the next tournament should be?

Thanks for the interest and help in this extremely fun game.

Stay Lutheran My Friends. ;)

Many thanks for organizing the tournament to goose_2.
Congrats to Naxor the winner.
And well done to Mkoki the runner-up, I had a lot of fun playing MP with you, I should have trained you harder ;)

Well I just wish for more balanced/interesting MP scenarios, and some minors rules fix would also greatly improve the MP experience.

Thank you. Final matches against mkoki were absolutely epic. Too bad our other blood and sand game got corrupted. I sent message to tech support forum but got no response which sadly looks like to me slitherine no longer supports this game like it used to do. I also want to thank all players who I played against and of course goose for organizing this great event. :)

It would be super cool to get a person from the Slitherine team to help promote the next tournament.

Anyone?
