WWII never seems to lose its touch, and with games like this it never will. I have played and finished single player CEAW several times. It is possible to increase the strength of the opponent and thus play both sides again and again.
To make it a little more historical correct and thus even more fun some changes should be implemented.
-The German forces should rush back to defend Berlin when under threat by the Allies.
-It seems much more difficult to conquer Rome than it was historically.
-The Axis forces seem without interest to stay and fight in Africa and thus being unable to keep the frontline away from Europe and to be able to try to conquer Egypt. This was in reality not the case.
-A land unit that is shipped to a place without a harbour should not be stranded. There is a good idea to just have a few harbours for repair, but a unit should be able to be moved from any place.
