Best Scenarios for Sieges?

Post by DonCzirr »

Any recommendations for good stock or user made siege scenarios?

I've found a number with "light fortifications" etc but nothing yet with a significant Fort / Castle etc to beat on (or defend)

Looking for something like the Fort Siege in Last of the Mohicans (I know time and location are a bit different) but you get the gist ....

Appreciate any help ....

If I remember correctly, the Siege of Calais scenario has the Imperial player assaulting an actual fortress held by the French.

hmm - sounds tempting Arinvald - I'll look it up - thanks.

Did you play that scenario? Or just saw the description?

Very good suggestions guys - one on the defense and the other on the attack - both appear quite intriguing !

There is also my "Attack on the Lines of the Scheldt", which can be downloaded within the game.

Yes I have played Calais as both sides in pbem. A very difficult challenge for the Imperials to break into the fortress but not impossible.

Thanks again Arinvald.

I saw in another thread - that someone actually did a scenario for the Little Big Horn - which speaks well of the extensibility of this game engine.

It gives me hope that at some point, the siege of Fort William Henry from Last of the Mohicans will be attempted.

Maybe someone is even working on it now?
