Some updates?

Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun is a turn-based tactical and strategic game set during this turbulent time; primarily focusing on the Japanese Warring States period and Japanese Invasion of Korea. Other armies from East Asia are also made available to simulate different conflicts across the region.

I know it's in the pipeline but curiosity demands little tips, some hints... some vague ideas.... :-)

...and time to prepare for the capital outlay...
BTW how's this title selling? The board seems rather slow.

I think the game lacks an open campaign maybe with historic starting points.

At the moment your actual control is quite limited, chasing armies around a simple map and being limited with diplomacy, deployment and earth works etc, currently I'd find it hard to recommend to fellow wargamers.

(going back to RUS Gold for now)

The game is more about battle than strategy and economic / country management. The campaign was basically there to tie together the battles.

The UI and graphics are certainly not appealing but its mechanics are very intriguing... with some adjustments to the AI this might really be the perfect simulation of the japanese medieval warfare.
Let's face it, with all its fancy graphics Shogun2 is just a clone of the previous total failures. The campaign AI is as stupid as it can be and you can play the 3d battles in accelerated mode because they are that easy too.

... not to mention completely ahistorical... and I don't even wanna mention Rome2 and the new warhammer thingy... clone after clone after clone without ever adding anything new or... anything new that works. :)
