PHOTOS OF CHARIOTS REQUIRED

Post by paulrobinson »

Thanks to those who responded so far to our request for photos of Biblical period figures for the upcoming List Companion Swifter than Eagles : The Biblical Middle East at War

We could still do with some photos of Chariots - any nation, any type :!:

The composition can be single figures or groups, or if you are feeling a bit more ambitious you might try a complete battle scene, but this would need a backdrop and very good terrain.

You will also have to be able to supply photography to print standard of at least 300DPI. Really all this means is that you need to set your camera to a fine or high setting, and the pictures should be taken in natural day light.

Contact jdm@slitherine.co.uk direct if you want to see your figures in a FoG list Companion and join a very exclusive club :!:

As a reminder we are looking for images of the following armies (and these are those we would like photos for rather than an exhaustive list of those armies in the book :) .

Sumerians/Akkadians

Hyksos

Mitanni

Chariots for Syro Canannite, New Kingdom Egyptian & Hittite Empire

Assyrians of all types (Middle, Early Neo Assyrian, Neo Assyrian Empire)

Philistine (anyone have a Goliath personality figure?)

Neo Hittites

Later Hebrews

Libyan Egyptians

Medians

Neo Elamites

Cimmerian/Early Skythian

Kushite Egyptian

Neo Babylonian
