Do the Check Date 'date' need to be on the exact same date as a turn date?
I hope not, as this means extra work setting up a table turns vs dates.

What happens if the Check Date is in between turn dates?
Is the trigger cancelled or should it be triggered on the next turn?

I suspect it is currently cancelled.
I have used it in a couple of scenarios for triggering historic reinforcements on certain dates.
Several Check Date triggers with spawned units do not trigger.

If you cannot guarantee the exact date will come up in a turn, use > and decrease the turn day by 1
