Currently on map 12 of the Japanese invasion of China (the map you get if you did everything perfectly throughout the campaign).
even though I have met the conditions for the campaign to disable foreign contributions (from Russia and the West), and the conditions for no experienced pilots and no experienced troops (Chinese)....
I see russian fighter planes, with experienced pilots, and a smattering of experienced Chinese troops.
what was the point of spending all those maps (3 entire maps, no less), making sure there are no foreign resources aiding the Chinese... if I have to face foreign resources in the final map!!
this needs fixing, as I did not have any plans to deal with the advanced Russian fighters (which are BETTER than mine!) for this map, nor did I expect to be facing experienced Russian tanks!
those things should only appear if you somehow *failed* in previous missions to completely shut down the foreign contributions... which I most certainly did not fail to do.
anywho... just my 2 cents. It just kinda ruins the whole "plot" of the campaign.
that said, overall this is my second favorite campaign, right behind the main Japanese campaign that came with the game originally.

Re: Morning Sun - map 12
...last thing:
After you win the campaign, in the final message there is a bad typo.
it says:
"...Japan now turns East to forfill its imperialistic ambitions."
obviously it should instead say "fulfill" (or fulfil if you are of the UK persuasion)

As to the typos, I can report that they have been addressed and should be corrected in the next update

I'm unable to check right now, but some info:
The Chinese will have access to Russian equipment throughout the campaign from 1938 on. This includes aircraft and tanks. The campaign variables if enabled prevent them from fielding more high experienced units, but not from fielding the equipment as such - it was historically delivered by Soviet Russia.
Also, it could be that certain units still have some exp preset by design because certainly during several years of war some units would always gain some experience - so those cam variables that kick in when you achieve certain goals reduce the number of experienced Chinese units, but not to 0.
There could be a problem if something is not triggered correctly, but I'd need a savegame to check.
As for fighters, you can buy/upgrade to Zeros when you're in the last scn, which should help
