64 unit limit

Hi Richard,

I just wanted to ask a few questions about the 64 unit per side limit.

a) Is it hard coded or can it be removed by modding?

b) Any chance this limit will be increased in future patches?

I guess the limit is there to help older PCs run the game, but I have designed some huge scenarios and run them without any problem with all units saved to 32 bit ARGB (which is a lot bigger file than standard) and have never had problems. My PC is about 4 years old and nothing special by todays standards. Some of the scenarios I have designed recently have gone over the 64 unit limit and I have had to make compromises to make them fit.

As far as I know it is hard coded. I had to get round it for Lutzen by having the Catholic reinforcements reuse the ID of destroyed units.
b) Any chance this limit will be increased in future patches?
It is possible, but don't hold your breath.
