Re: Some new icons if you want them, more to follow
I am posting some Panther G, Panther F and Panther II units I reskinned and tweaked a bit. I learned a new technique on DCS to do this after seeing images of these tanks with upper decks/hulls in plain colors with camouflage applied to the side hull and turret (where the line of sight from ground level was readily recognizeable). All of these are late war patterns and of course the tanks are either late war or fantasty late war. BTW, don't forget the Panther II NEVER HAD A SCHMALLTURM. The Schmallturm was not designed and made until the Panther II project was killed in 1943.

Panther F with schmallturm (NOTE: the barrels are deliberately left in Gray as many of the images/models I have seen are with gray barrels)

Seriously nice work thanks I enjoy seeing your ideas.
Re: Some new icons if you want them, more to follow
These units look great.
But I don`t understand how to use them. What do I need to do to make the StuG and Pz III icons look like the icons used in game? I mean 2 big and 2 small icons each facing left and right instead of only the big ones?

@ Ralle...........all you need to do it go to the Mediafire download links in the thread which are listed in bold typeface, download the zip files, unzip them and the units are there with masks ready to skin and put in the game. These images are just the ones I used to illustrate the different units in the zip files. The work is already done in the zip files.

Silly me.
I think I just should have downloaded it and look for myself instead of asking stupid questions.
And I was wondering all the time why you make such great icons which nobody can use.
Thank you very much anyways.

Hah got it now. The icons are looking really great in game.
Are you planing to make the Panzer IV also, like you made Panzer III?
Would be great for unit consistency. Pretty please!

Re: Some new icons if you want them, more to follow
Thank you so much Akkula. I am thinking about what can be done with a group of Panthers actually. Once I have it sorted out, I will make a set/group and an update from the first group I did last year. Was thinking about making one large Panther, Panther F and Panther II group with mods/variations and new camo patterns.
@ Ralle, yes, I am working on a set for the Panzer IV chassis armor. There are a lot of units in that series, so I will start with the Panzer IV, then work my way through the series.
I am attaching a picture of the reworked tracks, bogies, etc. that I am planning on using. This is just the first rework of the tracks, bogies, etc.. I am considering the options for how to improve it.

Re: Some new icons if you want them, more to follow
Here are some variations for Pzr IV units that I am considering implementing. These are done only on one side of these units and they are only the tracks, etc., but would be mixed and matched on various units (each side a bit different). Please bear in mind these are "rough sketches" and a long way from what a completed unit would look like for the game (the shadows are messy on these).
Of course full schurtzen will cover such track and bogey details, but partial or no schurtzen will give full view of the track, bogies and etc variations. With battle damaged Pzr IV and battle damaged schurtzen on them, the variations can be for all intents and purposes unlimited. For that reason I will just have to make several of each as I did with the StuG III's and Pzr. III. I am now considering reworking the just completed StuG IV, not sure yet.
I made a list today of the Pzr IV chassis unit variations and it was over 15, so this may take a bit to complete. It is a project I look forward to doing and I have other units besides the Pzr IV that I will do as well. I am inspired now having had success making the tracks as I wanted them to appear. So I hope I will stay inspired and everyone will have several variations of the various Pzr IV chassis based armor units.
