Game freeze as turn sends

Game froze last night as I tried to send the turn in multiplayer.

lets take a look,

Try a clean boot, or boot into safe mode.

as this loads less device and re try to see if it then works, then on trial and error, see which device is causing the issue, for me as always,

add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program, to make sure check the logs of these to see if it was one if any of them was to blame.

That usually means a 3rd party program, like an Internet security programs, is or could be interfering with the game or update installation.

run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.

please make sure all game pre requisite are installed with the game, even if you think or fully know there are already installed, it will only over write, and it may be that you have a older or newer version of these where as the game in question may need a certain version.

please make sure you are running the latest game version and have up to date drivers installed on your pc,

If you have the original version. So you'll need to update it from the Internet.
Please note that you'll only need the last update, as the updates are comprehensive. (not needed with steam)

as it's only on uploading? you say the game works fine when not online? / multiplayer etc?

I have done that with my old comp and with the new one. I'm done thinking its my comp, its a game problem. I'll send in the dx log files and auto turn save but that's all I'm going to do any more.

Check if any of your Internet security programs and/or your router firewall, aren't interfering with the game connection to the PBEM server.

Hi skyrider, I appreciate it's a pain to be asked for more, but with MP there are quire a few factors and it's hard to say exactly what is causing the problem without investigation. The output log can also often shed some light as it is a log of what went on at the time of the issue. If you have the error again, if you can grab that log with your report it might help us diagnose.
