Minima & Maxima in Army Lists??

The army is Lusitanian and has the maximum 48 MF (some drilled, some not).

If I choose an allied commander, can I make him Iberian? But if I do, am I then forced into the minimum of 24 MF for him? Or can I give him a 10-pak of MF as per the numbers in the allies list?

You build up and ally from the ally list.

The troops taken in this ally then count towards the minima and maxima of the overall army.

So if you have 16MF in the ally these count towards the army totals. However with ytour choice the main army has Heavy Catraeti, which is a different troop type.

So you can have 6-24 Scutarii in the Iberian ally and still have your min/max of your core troops.
