Code 8 error

I have a problem which I do not understand, having received notice that the turns from my opponent had been played and returned, I go into the game and press multiplayer which comes up with the login and password, my username is already in the first box as usual, I type in my pw which I have been using all the time, but on this occasion I get an error come up code 8. What can I do to resolve this problem?
