FoG at Strongbow's Shield, Dublin, Ireland - August 30th

There will be a FoG event at Strongbow's Shield in 2008.

Date: Saturday 30th August 2008

Location: The Teachers Club, Parnell Square, Dublin (map on the competition website below)

Cost: 15 euro (13 euro for RINIWA members or overseas visitors), payable on the day.

List Checking/Pre-Registration Deadline: Friday the 8th of August. FOG lists must be sent to Alec McTurk(alec@mcturk.com) before this date to qualify for the door prize.

This will be a one-day, two round 700 point introductory competition. Beginners are obviously very welcome. Full details can be found here:

Please note that a change has been made to the format of the FoG competition at Strongbow Shield. It will now be played as 3 x 2.5 hour rounds of 400AP rather than as previously advertised.

Minor modification to the rules will be used to handle the reduced AP format. Please see http://www.iworg.com/strongbow/ for full details.

Please also remember that lists must be submitted on or before the 8th August in order to qualify for the door prize (if you haven’t prepared your list by that date, but are still interested in coming, please drop me an email at alec@mcturk.com and let me know).
