Puruata Island

Landed a construction unit on Puruata Island to claim the island after destroying the bunker with gun fire...but now it's been six turns and I cannot get the construction unit off the island. Any suggestions? I need it to build another airbase. Scenario if Bouganville.

Put a destroyer next to the unit and embark.

thanks, but all the ships have gone away and one cannot purchase a destroyer. Looks like I have to restart?

IIRC that capture should give you a PT boat, which can also be used to extract coastal land units.
