Campaign game Play

I have a brief question, Playing the campaign and then I want to quit the game. I must save the battle and what is the next step when you want to pick up after you left the game the next day.

Do you have to save the game?

Do you click on the Campaign you are playing and play?

You can either load direct from the main menu, or if you go back into the campaign and attempt to start then it will list any saved campaigns for you to continue.

On iPad you can go to load and select your save file.
