Don - I quite fancy having a go with the Mughals (#5), if that's ok with you and they're still available. I found some unpainted Indian figures in the loft recently (Two Dragons/Caliver), and would like to see how the army plays with non-European opponents, to decide whether it's worth buying more and painting them all up, or just selling them on.

What time will this start and finish? I like the look of the theme so I'm interested if I can work out the travelling.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the question.
Following the lead of Oxford, we will be played using the following starting times: -
1st Round 9.00am to 11.30am

15 minute break

2nd Round 11.45am to 2.15pm

15 minute break

3rd Round 2.30pm to 5.00pm

Prize giving
Leighton Buzzard is about 20minutes from J13 of the M1, if that is any help.

Can you add David Hewkin to the (serious) possibles list, please? He'll need to borrow an army as well, I'm afraid.

The closest airport is London Luton, we are about 30 minutes drive away, or 45minutes by bus, but there is no direct train link unfortunately.
There is a Weatherspoons pub with accommodation five minutes away from the event, or...

Not thought about hotels before, it depends if you have transport. Not a great many around, but are some decent Bed and Breakfast places.

Iñaki,
So, does this appeal? It's basically the same distance from London as Cranfield was the other week.

I am afraid the high command (my wife), is not tha happy with the idea, I am afraid that, at the moment, It is better not to count with me.

Thank you very much in any case, if things change for the better I will let you know
