Before anyone tries to explain, I realize that this game doesnt have multiplayer. My question is: why? What exactly was the rationale for not having multiplayer? Don't get me wrong I generally play most games on single player anyway but not having multi-player still seems like it would be a major flaw to other gamers. Plus this game seems like it would lend itself to multi-player anyway. I happen to think it would be cool to play with a friend, conquer the galaxy and then stand shoulder to shoulder to face the final boss enemy.

Two primary reasons:
1. Instanced combat
2. Developer resources :)
