prestige points not working on iPad for grand campaign

I just got an iPad and the first thing I did was download Panzer Corps.
When I went to play the Grand Campaign prestige points are not being awarded for capturing victory hexes or city hexes. I double checked by playing the computer and capturing the same hexes. The only hex on the 39 campaign that awards prestige is the very first one in the lower left corner.
i have an iPad air 2, i do not know if that makes a difference

I've done some more research on this by going back to old game saves. Piatek works fine, but when I get on to Kampinsoka Forest I get no prestige per turn and no prestige for capturing towns. I've tested a couple of times and the same thing each time.

Okay getting a bit frustrated with this... None of the scenarios on any difficulty level give me prestige for capturing hexes. I tried starting a new game and it still doesn't work. I don't really want to re-install as I'll lose my progress but not really seeing any other options here.

I am sorry but i don't have any IPad so i can't even guess what could cause such a problem. Do you really lose your save games if you uninstall the game? On PC at least the save games are stored in different folder then the game and you can reinstall the game without losing your saves.

Ideally I'd like to know whether this (receiving no prestige for capturing hexes) is a known iPad bug, and whether reinstalling the app will delete all my saved games.

I've spent a lot of money on this, after buying the 'give me everything' pack but the game as it stands is not playable and I'm reluctant to just start a new campaign in case this happens again.

I'm having the same problem. Happened in both regular campaign and grand campaign scenarios. For me within a given scenario it is random whether I get prestige or not. I'd also like to know if this is a known bug.....

Also having the same problem on my iPad pro.
I will pereodicaly be awarded prestige points on taken objective hexes.....but most times not.
I have deleted and reinstalled several times to no avail.
Damned frustrating.

I had several emails with Slitherine tech support about this issue, and unfortunately it sounds like they haven't been able to replicate it. Further, because they say it doesn't effect many users it sounds like it is not a priority and they aren't actively trying to resolve the issue, based on my last correspondence. I would love to be wrong, as Panzer Corps has been unplayable for me since Dec. 2015 and I miss it!

The problem with this bug is that it is a game-breaker. It seems to affect folks with latest generation IPad devices (Air 2 or Pro), so my guess is that it gets more common over time. Slytherine needs to fix this. The lack of any response on this thread is disappointing.

Panzer Corps has been one of my favorite IPad games, and that is why I was willing to pay a bit of a premium for it (I have many of the Add-ons and also purchased the game for the PC). But, when you pay a premium you expect stellar support especially for bugs that are game-breaking.

Besides reloading the game I tried adjusting the prestige slider to see if it might somehow help. No luck. I also tried just playing a single scenario to see if it was somehow linked to playing a campaign. This made no difference either. Within a campaign I've played the same scenario multiple times and each time it varies which Objectives give prestige, But once I start a scenario I get the same results whenever I reload. It is almost like at the start of the scenario the prestige setting for each Objective is randomly locked in.

Regardless, this seems like it should be an easy fix. As someone else said: "Damned Frustrating".

Just to add to the numbers - I also have an iPad Air 2 and am experiencing this issue. I m on iOS 9.2.1

I only purchased the game 3 weeks ago. I have to say that I love it!!!!

BUT ... As I've gotten into my first Wermacht Grand Campaign (Colonel difficulty) prestige has been an issue so I started looking at how much prestige I was getting for each objective and other towns captured. I noticed that sometimes I get nothing at all for an objective. Doesn't make sense. Especially when I am awarded prestige in the same turn for capturing a non-objective town.

Anyway, love the game but hope this can be fixed. In the meantime I'll just pretend I'm on Rommel difficulty or something ...

Unfortunately, without being able to reliably generate Prestige points....you are left with a very difficult and frustrating gaming experience.

Thanks for responding, and I'm glad to hear it is a priority. So it sounds like they are still trying to reproduce the problem (one it appears is being experienced by a growing number of more recent generation iPad users). Is there any additional update you can give or information the developer needs to help problem solve? It would be helpful to know if it is being worked on or if it just hit a brick wall and nothing further should be expected at this time.

Upgraded my IPad Pro to 9.3.1 with my fingers crossed that this would solve the prestige bug.
No dice....
I would really like to be able to enjoy this game.
But as it stands....it is unplayable.

Wondering if anyone from Slitherine can answer the question I posted last week on this topic: is this prestige bug being actively worked on, or is the fact the developer couldn't reproduce mean nothing further should be expected? And if it is being worked on, any additional info we can provide (I think most of us are pretty motivated to do whatever we can to help resolve the issue so we can once again enjoy this fantastic game).

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it is completely random, as repeating the same sequence of unit purchases and moves with the same rule set consistently has the same results for me. Altering some variables, however, may alter the results. For example, on the first GC1939 scenario, Poznan, if I purchase 1 infantry, 1 Bf109E, and 2 sturmpanzers, I will never receive prestige for capturing the southwest victory point, "Polish Checkpoint (12,14)." When I tweaked the rules and units purchased I did sometimes get the prestige, but eventually there was always an objective that did not result in prestige. Playing on iPad Air2
