Graphics Problem?

Post by Zombiewoof »

Just installed mega pack and the newest version of PC. No issues on functionality, but the visual aspects are all much smaller, and the ability to zoom into the field of play is disabled/not functioning. I'm sure its probably within the settings on my computer, but haven't had much success via changing the screen resolution. Intro screen looks fine as well, just when I enter into game play. Thoughts?

What Panzer Corps version are you running? Is it 1.25?
Could you please attach a DxDiag report file to your message?

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8/10 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8/10)
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. open the text file, copy the contents, and post along with your issue.

What screen resolution have you selected in the game settings?

I have tried pretty much all of them - basically problem seems to be the screen is at maximum view and can't scroll into the playing field

Try to reduce your DPI size from 250% to 100%, sign out/in Windows, run the game, select 1920x1080 on the game settings and check if there's any difference on the game.

On how to change the DPI settings check this webpage:

half way there - fixes the pcorps problem, but now of course the regular screens are unreadable. I can certainly shift back and forth, but wondering if I can customize for one program? thoughts?

Fully Resolved: for anyone else where the screens appear to be at minimum size but maximum resolution (ie, you can't scroll into the game play); Follow the above, reduce the DPI, change the screen resolution within pc settings. Fixes the pcorps problem, afterwards/restarting the computer you can change the resolution back to something better for the general computer usage.
Thanks for the help
