Bridgelayer Unit

Post by Bread51 »

This might sound a silly question but how do you use the bridgelayer unit? It just isn't as obvious to me as most of the other units. Thanks

Just "park" it on a river, other units drive over it .. bit like the poor chap that throws himself on the barbed wire

Yeah - it would be nice if the game engine handled it so that the unit icon would automatically switch to a pontoon bridge once it is "parked" on a river hex. Just dreamin'...

The units them selves don't change but at least there are now "pontoon bridges" been shown in Sea lion and Soviet, the change I would like is for bridging tanks being able to drive straight on to the river rather than park and then next move lay the bridge
