General Wolfslair has reported:

Both games are 8 turns in. As the germans I hold a slight edge. As the British my opponent holds about 75 percent of the objectives. He is finding my troop transports and totally wiping them out! It will be tough for me to turn around that game

Thanks for the reports teams.

I look forward to hearing from the remainder of the competitors.

General Topgun has given me a report.

Arogtelu and he are in Day 2 and 3
so way too early to project a winner

That leaves 2 reports yet to come.

My report as of this weekend. :(

I have 3 more days to finish up the scenario and there is no way for me to take over the initiative.

I will not be wiped out, which I think surprises my opponent Naxor, but I will surely lose.

I also have received a report from General Skyfox.
He will be losing his match with Mkoki.

So Round 2 hopefully will get wrapped up by this weekend so I can set up for Round 3. I will try and take a pulse check on Saturday, but as of today I can report.

Winners Circle:
Naxor (He will be getting a bypass in Round 3 for being the 1st winner)

Less Fortunate Circle:
Mkoki and Goose_2

Eliminated Circle:
Slowgtp and Skyfox (Keep practicing for next year)

Stay Lutheran My Friends

We are quite equally skilled players but thanks to my better start I managed to secure objectives I wanted. Thank you for being a great opponent and giving me a good challenge. Im very excited to proceed to the next round.

Hello,

Bracadda surrendered on both side on turn 13 in Norway. I'm sure to win as German on turn 14. He still have 4 ground units but too far from Trondheim and I'll take it in 1 turn with paratroopers from Namsos. My navy is full of healthy cruisers and just in front of Trondheim in 1 turn. Royale Navy has been totally destroyed.

With my allies side: I have really slowed the German's invasion in front of Bergen and Lillehammer with the help of the rain.
I have surrounded his paratroopers near Namsos and killed many of them on the road to Trondheim. I think Bracadda doesn't have more prestige points to continue pushing even if it's the same for me. His cruisers are stuck near Germans seaports because he doesn't have anymore destroyers or coastal guards to kill my polish submarine. I've lost many ships but the rain well helped me against his planes. My Hurricane has 10hp instead of his BF109 (4hp) and BF110 (5hp). My navy has to retreat from Bergen to Trondheim because of his U-Boat (my destroyers are all dead too)... But some of my big ships are still alive and efficient for supporting another eventual assault near Trondheim.
I think he should win this battle but not before 5 or 6 turns at least cause I still have 10 ground units with very good health.
All of my british and french troops are alive and many units are upgraded with 1 star.
So I won this round and wait for new orders!

Good luck everybody for the end of this round.

Report from General RAG116:
Sit-Rep: short for (Situation Report), Playing Wolfslair71 in Desert Squadrons
Currently on turn 20 out of 30 as British holding on to 2 OBJ's out of 17  it seems a rough go for the Brits on this one.

For those of you who haven't played this one Germans start on one side British on the other, prestige is maxed out on this battle.
I think every 3 turn you get a preset select group of reinforcements that you get to pick a few turns earlier in order of Infantry, mech, Armor, Anti - Tank, Fighters, Tac-Bombers, I think that's it. And that group appears scattered with in 5 hexes from your edge of the map. And you go from there.

On turn 21 out 30 as the Germans I control 14 out of 15 OBJ's

So it may well go on to a tie as the OBJ go and be settled by the fewest amount of prestige used since were both were maxed out at the beginning.

Rag116

I will be taking a pulse check tomorrow morning to see where everyone is at.

Keep 'em coming.

Ok It has been 2 weeks and I am taking another pulse check to see where everyone is at.

Winners Circle matches
Naxor and I finished Partisan Uprising
I officially got my a** handed to me. I was left with only one primary objective on both sides of that one. Which means he had 4 on each map. 5 to 10 more turns and I would have been completely wiped out. This means I am going to the Less Fortunate Circle and Naxor gets a bypass for Round 3
Wolfslair and RAG116 are both still duking it out (Lets see if you boys can wrap it up this weekend so I can set up round 3 on Monday)
Hollowlolo has beat Riffraff which means Riffraff moves to the Less Fortunate Circle with me and Hollowlolo just needs to wait for the winner between RAG116 and Wolfslair

Less Fortunate Circle
Argotelu and Topgun have reached a stalemate as Argotelu has gone Slowgtp on his opponent. I am giving you the stern eyes Argotelu :| :? (Seriously lets wrap this up if everyone wraps up their matches and Argotelu has not played his round we will move on and consider Argotelu eliminated.)
Sylvio has defeated Bracadda which means that Bracadda has been eliminated. (I hope to see you on the battlefield again Bracadda as you are a brilliant tactician against ai, human players are so much different)
Mkoki has defeated Skyfox which means Skyfox has been eliminated. (Skyfox you are a worthy competitor and we hope to see you next time we do this.)

This is the report as of Saturday Morning.
I will be gone this weekend, as my European friends would say, "On Holiday" (I love that) :D
I hope the 2 matches left can finish up this weekend so I can set up round 3 on Monday.

For my other multiplayer game players. I have some good/bad news.
I have been tapped again to help with the new Allied Corps US Grand Campaign. (Love it)
So with that I am going to find it difficult to find time to play my multiplayer rounds, but I will continue with the contest.
It may mean that I can only play my fun games once or twice a week, where as the 1941 scenario I am doing with Mkoki will have to be postponed indefinitely. (Let me know if you would like me to just surrender or if you are ok with waiting a few months. :? ) Pitemag I will try to play 1939 every other week as much as possible.

The Good News is that I do not have to tap out and back in from the test for Allied Corps US Grand Campaign to play multiplayer because I bought Soviet Corps from the Matrix website, the bad news is finding the time.

I have really, really, really enjoyed this contest, like a lot.
So I have been thinking Once this is over and we declare a winner of the Multiplayer Champion Tournament 2016 maybe starting another contest.

Ultimate Soviet Multiplayer Champion in honor of the new expansion.
It would start with players all playing the same balanced scenario for round 1, then all players playing a different balanced scenario for Round 2, and so on until an ultimate Multiplayer Champion is declared.
What do you think? Would anyone be interested? Anyone else reading this post?
Let me know, thanks.

Ok people this is a massive Post/Private Message so I hope you are all doing well and ready for Round 3. Hopefully on Monday.

Just received this awesome report from General Hollowlolo that I have to post.

Whoa General Hollowlolo that is an outstanding report I am adding to the forum, because it has that flavor that people like me just love to read.

Awesome battle log, much better than my boring day by day reports. :(

Hollowlolo wrote:That fight with Rifraff was incredible....

I won in turn 15(total victory, all objectives fulfilled including secondary objectives, an French Army totally annihilated) , whereas Rifraff was unable to do so(we would probably have on in turn 16 or 17 or maybe 18(but I don't think we would have last so far) ; but, even if he would have on in 15 turns, my french troops did so much damages to his army(especially on his armored corps) that I'm quite sure to have won with a larger amount of prestige : I won with precisely 1976 prestige points. In the fight, he lost 3 or 4 PzIV Pzdivisions, + 1 Jadgeschwaders of bf109, + others units(several automotive antitank Jadgpanzer, 2 recons ...) : Very heavy losses that probably left him quite short of prestige during a large part of the battle.

Considering that , General Rifraff surrendered in turn 15 ....

But that was so close , all time long(reason why I couldn't send any Combat Report)...

The winner was undetermined nearly until the last turn (he made a stunning final rush to try to achieve his goal before me, and it nearly succeeded).

His strategy was good, and I feel quite lucky to have won this battle : he really did horrible damages to the units forward in the front.

Phewww................

I do have a report:
Argotelu and Topgun are playing again, hopefully they can get wrapped up so I can post this weekend.
Boys do you think that will be possible? :| :P

RAG116 has defeated Wolfslair I think in the 24th round of their battle and on the 24th round of the other match RAG116 still had 2 major objectives which makes RAG116 the winner.

That means The Winners Circle is set:
Naxor who earns a bypass for round 3
RAG116 and Hollowlolo will be battling

That is all I have to report for now. Hopefully Round 3 soon.

OK Not all Generals are ready but I am making a command decision.

Round 3 commences:
This will consist of 9 players Naxor getting the bypass (I actually feel sorry for you Naxor as I hate waiting)
Winners Circle:
Hollowlolo versus RAG116: Stalingrad (That should be epic)

Less Fortunate Circle:
Goose_2 versus either Argotelu or Topgun (whoever wins round 2 will battle me in Iron Cross Red Star it is set up and ready to go) I have only played Iron Cross Red Star once so I am taking a big risk, but championships are not for the weak. ;) )
Wolfslair71 versus Sylvio94: Blood and Sand
Riffraff versus Mkoiki77: Greece (my favorite scenario)

Set up a paired game with undo off and password as
contest

Let's try to have these wrapped up by Sunday April 10th at the latest. (Please)

Round 4 will consist of the battle in the winners circle and 2 battles in less fortunate circle.
Since that will be the final battle for the winners circle I am opening up the battle to the audience.

Which battle do you think should be set for that final winners circle battle?
Please provide feedback.

There will be further rounds as you need to be beaten twice to be eliminated, but Round 4 should be epic.

To the front Generals and Blessings on your endeavors.

Sonnenblume '43

It is fairly well balanced as a multiplayer map and has a pretty epic scope. The units are also quite fun for both sides, without being overly powerful.

Report from Mother Russia: Me and Sky finally manage to finish the game. Outcome : 2-0 for major mkoki
I won in turn 13 (cautious and slowly progress advance.(lost only 3 planes and 2 infantry german units)- is there any other way to win as Germany?

and this is the final status of me as allied
kursk.jpg
kursk.jpg (165.22 KiB) Viewed 5688 times
winner tactics was: attack everything that moves on the east side (aux units) and avoid German steel

Congrats to Sky...like a true sportsman, he played to the bitter end.

First report from Greece (third turn) will post my new mate Rifraiff (he has initiative in both games so the honor of opening statement belongs to him)

Report in from match up against General Argotelu and General Topgun.
Argotelu is the victor having beaten Topgun it appears on both sides of the match up.

I am awaiting Argotelu to join the match up I have set up, and hoping we can get some rounds in before I will be gone for Easter weekend spending time with family.

I look forward to hearing reports from the various Generals already in battle, and do not forget to vote for the scenario the 4th round Winners Circle will match up in

There is one vote for Sonnenblum '43 and one for Rush to Moscow

Still 2 more weeks to get your vote in, and players can certainly weigh in.

Let me know.

I hope it is some of the multiplayer balanced maps because it is very frustrating to play if you know it is almost impossible to win when playing other side. I listed some good ones in my first post but Sonnenblum '43 is also nicely made beautiful map. Maybe not best balanced but very fun to play.
