Normally, this campaign file should do the trick.

Re: [Axis Campaign] MPC '35- '39 v1.0/MPC '40 v1.0
The 1941 GC is now shown in the menu, but I can not chose from a list of save cores, though the latest one, 000027.pzcor, with date 10-02-2016 (yesterday) has been properly saved in the /savecore map in mygames/panzer corps.
Any more suggestions of what I may have done wrong or forgotten to do?

Re: [Axis Campaign] MPC '35- '39 v1.0/MPC '40 v1.0
There are three more things that i can think of, than i have ran out of ideas.
1) You have two GC 41 folders? One for the steam and one for the non-steam version? Then you have to extract the campaign file in the correct GC 41 folder.
2) Reinstall the latest patch if you run the non-steam version; then extract the campaign file once again.
3) If you play the steam version, check the file integrity of Panzer Corps; click on Panzer Corps in your library, right click and chose properties, chose local files and then verify integrity of game cache. If it needs to "repair", afterwards extract the campaign file again in the DLC 41 folder of the steam version of Panzer Corps.
The steam version of panzer corps is installed in *drive* \SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Panzer Corps\DLC\GC 41
Note that custom equipment files, if you are using one, do have the tendency to mess up savecores for whatever reason.

I am not using the Steam version, so have done what you suggested, re-installed the latest patch, 1.24.
Assume that this also overwrites any custom equipment files? At present equipment.pzeqp, date 04-03-2013 23:22 269kb size.
Have not loaded any mods at the moment.
Have copied the campaign file in correct DLC/GC 41 map (in the /panzer corps map, not in the my docs/my games map...).
Start the 1941 campaign, no message of previous saved cores, so goes on immediately to the first battle (Belgrade), without save core of your mod.
If this is the last thing I can try I have no choice but to start all over with your new/latest version, since I wish to start the GC in 1936-38.
Not looking forward to it, because I already spent many days coming this far, now time which appears to have been in vain

Have installed the new MPC 1940 and was able to start it with the core save from MPC 35-39....
So hope that with the MPC 1940 finished this time it loads into the GC 1941...

You can do a quick "endscn 0" cheat through the scenarios, you core will be saved too and then check if it asks for it in GC 41. No point in playing through all the scenarios again, if the core export/import doesn't work.

Succesfully ended your 35/39 and 40 mod - thanks - VERY rewarding, sometimes way off how "official" GC's work and therefore challenging - thanks!!!
Now off to 1941... Now able to import save-core of your mod into the GC 1941.

Niki,
I am 4 missions into this mod and I cannot place any of my purchased aircraft. Therefore, under the assumption I have a corrupted file or an earlier release, I went to re-download from Sendspace but my virus software says that said download is infected.
Thoughts?

Hi Nico,
I have a question regarding the second mission (Rhineland). I take the 3 cities (the white flags change to german ones), destroy all the structures and then I'm told to put my units on garrison hexes. I do so, but the scenario doesn't end because the victory hexes (the 3 cities) have gone neutral again. Moving a unit in doesn't change the flag. So my glorious war ends somewhere in 1936.
EDIT: I looked at the winning conditions in the editor. There have to be at least 5 Axis units within the garrison hexes. Since I play with 50 % prestige I only had 4. Changing the conditions accordingly ended the mission successfully.
Off to Spain I guess …

Nasty bug appearing in the MANNERHEIM scenario: apparently the Russians found a way to get their ground units afloat in 1939...
East of Taipala the sea hexes seem to be available for the Russians to attack me.
No problem in the beginning (this shot from turn 5), but after turn 16 or so, they start attacking the fortress and even move up one hex north
for an invasion north of the fortress.

Re: [Axis Campaign] MPC '35- '39 v1.0/MPC '40 v1.0
Units on frozen hexes don't sink when the ice melts but either get stuck (I imagine them sitting on an ice floe, surrounded by thin ice or water and wishing they were somewhere else) or just manage to drive onto a normal hex (thinking "that was close!").
Usually for every time it's annoying that the enemy survives soon after one of my own units benefits from it.
For a particular icy scenario It should be possible to create scripts to handicap units that are on ice or on hexes that can only be accessed when frozen. Eg suppress them or strip their fuel to 0 when it thaws (so you are stuck and have limited defence until it freezes again for long enough to refuel and drive off), or reduce strength each turn that the situation persists. Probably easiest if you define the freezable hexes as a specific zone. This could be used for providing a good route to an objective that also had an unpleasant risk attached.

Re: [Axis Campaign] MPC '35- '39 v1.0/MPC '40 v1.0
This is from turn 5, too early for deep freezing winter temperatures to have set in?.
This is the 2nd time I have played this scenario. During the first time (a year ago or so) the lakes on the map did unexpectedly freeze up and all hell broke loose when the Russians were suddenly able to attack from all sides. This second time the freezing up did not occur.
Also: I tried to occupy hexes along the northern coastline with my German units, but was not able to go into (undeep?) water...

Thanks Nico!
I played V.04 in the past and really enjoyed it. Didn't know there was a later version until I saw Jordan's post. I'm looking forward to playing through this again. And thank you for all the many scenarios and campaigns that you have created. I've spent countless hours playing and still haven't played them all yet

This reminds me. When I last played this using equipment file 16 on the training mission (sorry I forgot the name) there were two 43 LRDG units next to an airfield. I suspect a clash with unit numbering.

Yeah, but if i remember correctly, this mod has its own e-file.captainjack wrote:This reminds me. When I last played this using equipment file 16 on the training mission (sorry I forgot the name) there were two 43 LRDG units next to an airfield. I suspect a clash with unit numbering.
