What is Field of Glory™?
Field of Glory™ is a wargaming rules system that uses model figures and terrain to recreate the great battles
of the ancient and medieval world, written by some of the biggest names in the wargaming community,
including the co-author of the popular DBM rules, Richard Bodley Scott. Field of Glory™ allows players to use
Wargames Factory miniatures to re-fight historical scenarios or create their own “what if” battles. It is being

Hills remain the last frontier in terrain pieces - ask them pretty please to make some very gently sloped hills at desirable FoG sizes with subtle high-friction-edged contours about 10-15mm apart so they are readily usable for troops rather than for sliding, toppling, or just pure decorative/impassable terrain.

I agree 100% with Mikek the problem with nearly all "nice" hills is that figures slide off them. If that's cracked then I think most people would be happy to use better looking hills.

Lets hope this range can produce what is needed

I was just going to pass an order from them today

They sell the (by far) best looking terrain I've seen commercially available...
And no shipping charges for orders of a certain amount (70 AUD for Europe I think)!

Does this mean that we can finally get some good ancient Greek / Persian/ etc. buildings in 15mm . Buildings that are specifically ancient and regional. That would be good and save a lot of time in scratch-building that I never get around to.

For those who can't wait...."The Scene" make particularly good, hardwearing gently sloping hills. I particularly like their hard-backed range. They have lots of appropriate sizes and no two are alike. I believe they'll custom build too.
...and no I'm not on commission!

He's still doing the handbuilt hills (see his website...the stock levels are "live")...but can't handle the resin anymore, he's developed an allergy. He's sold the moulds on I think.

Looks nice but annoyingly just too large for a 'normal' size in FOG so would constitute 2 selections.
