Just bought and downloaded the game. Now it' probably me being stupid, but how do I install it on a drive other than the default C:\ drive? I can't see any way to change the path.

Hi, if you already have a version of Panzer Corps installed, then Soviet Corps must be installed to that same directory, that might be why you're not getting the option? If you have no other Panzer Corps game installed then you can choose your install location freely

Same issue here, I'm afraid. It will only install to the default C: location. If I try to run it from the Soviet Corps Gamemenu I get a CRC error.

I checked my existing game (which is on the E: drive), which still works, and even running the SC installer from the correct E: folder doesn't change this behaviour.

If I run my existing PzC installation it is still the 1.24 version and claims I am running the latest version when I try to update. This happens when trying to update automatically and by manually running the just posted 1.25 update.

Hi, same problem here. PanzerCorps is on drive D, the new game on C (can`t choose D in the install menu), and when starting the game it says "CRC" failure.

I would have hoped that you guys could have come up with some better background music. For me it is dull and not very involving.For Anyone who has played the Panzer General 2 and Panzer General 3 games this comes as a letdown. It lacks the feel of the real russian struggle back in WW2. So I put my faith in a clever scenario storyline rather than the accompanying soundtrack.

Same Problem with the Installation here. It only installs on my C: Drive which only holds my Windows 10 as it is a small SSD.
Couldn't select any other drive for the installation - and i own all panzer corps parts so far...

this solution worked for me:

1. install soviet corps to the default: C:\Program Files... (you have no choice here, as you found out)
2. copy & replace those newly installed files form C:\Program Files... to your already existing Panzer Corps Directory (example: D:\games\panzercorps) (make a BackupCopy of the Directory before)
3. Prompt will ask you if folders with same name should be integrated and files replaced. Say Yes for all.
4. Run the Panzercorps.exe located in the D:\ Location (old Shortcut probaly will not work, did not for me)
5. Defend the Motherland! Comerade Stalin does not care for any Installationproblem excuses!

This worked for me too after i got the CRC Error too on the original installation. But i honestly don't know if it has any effect on the other Panzer Corps parts...

It is a bug in the installer, Slitherine is well aware and fixing this asap.

For the time being you can solve this manually with this workaround:

Copying & replacing the files to the Base Game Directory on any drive you have your base game on, D:\ or ED:\, or whatever drive you have the game installed.

As described above, it will not harm your original files.

I guess I was too quick off the trigger too , anyway I have used the above fix to move Soviet Corps into my usual PanzerCorps folder and no issues, Just one thing will there be a problem with auto updates in the future with the game set up this way ??.

Bought Soviet corps today, I have all the other Versions installed (Panzer corps,Afrika corps,Sealion etc etc),and still being forced to install Soviet to C: Drive
