Mines

Post by Erik2 »

I think mines should be more lethal, in line with the loading tip where it states that even strong units will suffer severe losses (or words to that effect).
One of these Japanese light tanks was' ambushed' by the mines, it suffered 1 strength lost.
The other cleared the minefield losing 2 strengths.

Losing 4-5 is better, then players would think twice about clearing them by brute force.
I assume the single mine type cover both anti-personell and anti-vehicle mines.

imo it shouldn't just give a lost or damage and instead should also do morale as well, as one to loss is nothing but a big hit to morale means more and then they truly fear it / them etc and would think twice of going in, but saying is one thing and making it happen is another

Yes, lowering efficiency would be a good thing too.

I agree. The loss to efficiency should be stronger than the loss to strength points.
