Awesome that makes 11

And Rayrard
I will do an AAR for Poland as Braccada and I playthrough, but I will post a thread titled.

Multiplayer Strategy where I will share some insights I have gathered after playing mp for more than a year, it is the aspect of the game that I enjoy the most.

Perfect that makes 12
Consider yourself in Riffraff

A perfect dozen

One week until the matches are posted.

Riffraff please let me know which scenarios you are interested in playing, unless you are open to all of them.

3 to 5 please

I might suggest you don't start this until the release of Soviet Corps - there may be a big mess up of games in the transition from 1.24 to 1.30.

Only four extra days :|

If the contestants want to wait 4 extra days before they set up that is fine by me but I will be posting the set up of the matches on Valentine's Day.

I am chomping at the bit to set this up and to start playing, so I feel I am being more than generous in my waiting for any other interested players.

I like the fact that we have a perfect dirty dozen right now, but 1 more week to take any interested players.

Ok I was asked a question about the balanced scenarios and how to determine the winner on those matches assuming they are pretty evenly matched and may end up in some kind of draw.
Let me walk you through a possible scenario.

The winner is determined as to who wins the most objectives by the end of the turn.

Let's take Steamroller Vs. Steel for example. I think there are 7 primary objectives.

If you beat them as the Germans by the end of all of the turns and you have 5 of the major objectives, but you lose to them as the British but you have 3 objectives and they were only able to take 4.
You would win the overall match because you took 8 primary objectives in total over the course of the game.

Let's say that you both each took 7 objectives total with both games. That would be considered a draw and you would have to remember what your prestige was at the end of that last round. Let's say German side is 267 and your British side was 564. That would add up to 831 in total prestige. If your opponent's total prestige was more than that he would win, if it is lower than you would win.

Does that make sense?

Let me know if there are any other questions.
I am so looking forward to taking on Braccada. That is about all I think about.
I hope he is ready for Poland as I have given him plenty of warning. ;-)

Ok I know I said Valentine's Day for when I was going to post, but patience is not one of my strong suits. (Even though I have 8 kids)  :)

I have all 6 match ups ready to go for all 12 participants, at least on paper.
I was going to post them on Sunday, like I said, but then that means that I would let most of the weekend go by with no contest started. :(

I want to start now. I want to post now.

I feel we have our interested players and I would like to get started playing.

Let me know if you would like me to post the matches and I will post first thing tomorrow morning, that way we have all weekend to rumba tumba.

I am ready for war, are you.

I have heard back from 4 players...it is time.

Here are the match ups for round 1.

Goose_2 vs Braccada scenario Poland
RAG116 vs TopGun scenario Steamroller vs. Steel
Hollowlolo vs Mkoki77 scenario Benelux otherwise known as Low Countries
Naxor vs Argotelu scenario Hylan Valley
Wolfslair71 vs. Slowgtp scenario The Dnieper
Skyfox vs Rifraff scenario Urban Warfare

The person on the left sets up the scenario as a paired game with undo off.

contest

Post your results either on this posting
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 5&start=20
or shoot me a private message so I can post the results.

Let's make this match up a priority and get rounds done in a timely manner.
I would expect to hear back the results within a month.
I am so excited that I think I will post a day by day playthrough of my game once it is done, kind of like what I do in the Grand Campaign.
I wasn't sure I wanted to show all my cards for the scenario Poland, but I like the idea of possibly helping other players understand the strategies to win.

I do not need that thorough of a breakdown from any of you just who won the paired match up.
Please let me know any other questions you may have.

Now,
LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!

Blessings on your battles and as always...

Is this your official signoff now? I see it in most of your posts  .

Then again, I've done this in all but about 3 of my posts (I admit the first 20 or so had the full label, but I got lazy):

I heard in an advertisement for a church in Pensacola Florida use it as their sign off. I liked it so I have started using it myself.

I listen to a lot of Lutheran podcasts as well as political podcasts and some of it bleeds over. ;-)

I adopted mine because I wanted to use "- BiteNibbleChomp" as a signature, but it took me a couple hundred posts to figure out how to make a signature.

I plan on posting an AAR after my first round contest or maybe partially during, but probably after.

Similar to how I do my day by day AAR's for my Grand Campaign.

I am anxiously waiting for Braccada to accept my challenge.

If Braccada's AAR videos are any guide, he will be studying the map in detail!
