Not loading on a Mac (Steam)

I am trying to load the game on my Mac through Steam. The game crashes on loading with the error message "The application "BattleOfTheBulge" can't be opened." On the Steam site Shards {Developer} posted back in October that they were trying to get o the bottom of this. Wanted to see if there was any progress. Oh, I am running OS X El Capitan v10.11.3

I'd saddened that this is still and issue, it looked like we'd fixed it, but obviously not! The team are investigating now, but it's proving very hard to track down!
