Spanish Civil War 1936-39

this year is the 80th return since the begin of that war! The "new" older units like Polikarpov I-16 or Panzer 1, T-26 are predestined for a mod in that theatre...
Are there any plans?

I don't know what the future plans are, but it is a nice theater not much covered in games.
After this campaign one could take many of the units and move to the early Blitz-Krieg.

I'm not skilled in modding, but would it be possible to create such a scenario with the editor? (New faction flaggs, unit names...etc)

Most of the 2d user interface stuff is probably easy to edit for someone with some graphic abilities.
The 3d units are of course more complicated.
Also, I don't think all graphics are released for editing yet.

Duplicating and modding units is not difficult, I've done a few on a project I'm working on.
No problems adding new names, no game values is probably a trial & error process. I've only edited easy stuff like movement, cost and artillery ranges and some medium complex ones using switching mode (bomber vs torpedo).
I had to use existing graphics so the new units do not look 100% autentic. But you should be able to find a unit among the 500+ existing ones to get fairly close.
