ipad user question

Hello,
i want to firstly say how much i enjoy playing Panzer Corps.
Secondly. i have a question. i play a game with a friend on the PC. he challenged me to a battle titled 1941. in this game he told me that in the lower left corner there should be an option of "show all troops" in the buy troop window. i told him that all i see is a compare units option. this sucks because i am unable to buy troops in east Africa if i am indeed unable to open the menu of "show all troops" that i am able to buy.
is there a workaround for this problem? is there a way to download the game onto my PC with the purchase on my ipad?
i even bought the buy all content for 60 bucks because i like this game, but i still do not see this option which he has from his PC. any information help or suggestions would be welcomed.

i'm sorry there is no cross game platform promotions, regarding

if some feature is missing from a menu from one type to another, it maybe by design or by a different version number, which one platform having a later version number and more features than the other, but i could be wrong, better to ask the question in the right section then a mod of member from that game will answer
