Main Menu Popping Up During Game

Don't know if anyone has this issue and how to stop it. When I'm in the middle of a scenario (for example I was playing Afrikacorps Alam Halaf as the Germans in scenario mode) and occasially to very frequently the main menu would randomly pop up on the screen. If I went to the main windows screen (I have a PC) and click the Iron Cross icon for the game, the game would come back to where I was before. Then I'd move a few more units and the main menu would pop up again.

I never lost a game or had to load a last turn as clicking the game icon on my toolbar would recover the game, but the main menu popping up dozens of times got old real fast.

Is this a bug?

When that happens the best option is just to reinstall the game.
