Wurfenhammer Question

In an AI game I charged a Wurfenhammer unit with multiple infantry units. When I got within 2 or 3 squares it fired on me with rockets 2 or 3 times in a single turn. Offensively this unit can only fire once every 2 or 3 turns so this defensive fire behavior seems incorrect. Is this expected behavior?

Actually it fire 3 time offensively. It just fire it in in the same sequence, so you seem to think it fire only once. You should try a scenario where you can play it and see if you can do the same think (using direct fire).

Indirect fire is only every 2-3 turns, due to reload time. What is odd though, is that during that reload, you can fire Direct fire with it (and others that need longer reload times). IIRC, it was brought up during beta but can't remember what the outcome was.
