I've got one at a similar but slightly shallower angle (a French SARL 42) which was adapted from a photo of a model. The angle is because it was the closest I could get to the standard view, rather than a deliberate choice to use the more 3D look. Because the tank has a slightly strange look, the different angle doesn't look too badly out of place in play but I prefer all one thing or another rather than a mix.

Some things I learned developing this icon:
- It appears to be harder to cut and paste because of the steeper angle;
- There are many more standard icons (and variants) that can be adapted, merged and combined;
- The existing animations are set up for the standard view so if you use a different angle you either have to accept poor alignment (me) or create new animations (someone else).

Bear in mind my graphics editing skills are pretty basic - mostly cut and paste.

Haven't you noticed the resemblance to the bigunit graphics yet? (Except the 88 Pak - that was modified).

I assembled about 200 of them yesterday - I'm not sure this would be possible if I didn't have the 3d icons already done.

You had the 7tp, so this one had better join it:

Why did I make this horrible unit? No. 1 to be removed from the game!:
I don't consider this graphic awful., I have a burning hatred towards T-90s though!

The US halftrack SPAAG are annoying (as are all SPAAG on the enemy side) but the T90 is particularly irritating.

Maybe the twin 12.7s are overpowered, maybe it's the fact that a prototype unit is used when there were many truck mounted units that could have been used, or maybe it just looks awful. Or I simply have an irrational dislike of it. Whatever the reason, I agree

300 of them were built in real life. I think there are probably 300 UNITS of it throughout the GC.

So unless the rotten thing represents only one truck per unit, the game has far too many and they're far too strong.

I have seriously considered making a scenario where you get a bunch of Tigers and the enemy just has 100s of SPAAGs that can be easily murdered, as a kind of revenge for all the planes they have shot down!

I hadn't realised it was so many - I'd seen some reports that suggested it was as few as ten (or less). But since I was using internet sites it would be little surprise if the figures were inaccurate.

I think that's a reasonable concept for a bonus scenario - gain DV and go on a turkey shoot.

There's probably also a need for a "Hero of the PC World" achievement for killing T90s in Steam!

Mine might be inaccurate as well, I can't remember where I saw 300. But even if it was 1000 there is still far too many in game!

Here's the scenario. Took me about 5mins to place the 180 T-90s. Kill them all! (No victory conditons or anything - just kill them)
