Field Fortifications

I can't find some clarifications in the rule if BG still can claim POA for "Only in Open Terrain", such as knights charging with lances.

It does seem logical that Field Fortifications nullify this advantage but the rules do seem very unclear how Field Fortification in open terrain impact such troops.

Hi - the rules are very clear - just not easy to find on this one.

See Page 143 - the Glossary and the definition of Open Terrain. So the Knights do not count their lance and MF defending FF or PO vs mounted (except El) do not count as being in open terrain.

Lots of good stuff in the glossary. :)

OK, thanks... I was pretty sure I had read this before but the rules are a bit scattered in my opinion at time.
