want inspiration on cow period - brilliant book

hi guys,
a brilliant book that really brings this era to life, probabally difficult to get - title: "four thousand years ago", author geoffrey bibby, publisher penguin, published 1961 & 1965, covers period 2000bc-1000bc, each chapter covers a generation/lifetime. for example you get a chapter about the hittites under mursilis and their expansion into yamkhad and aleppo, followed by the launch of a huge hittite raid across hurrian territory to take babylon. really brings period to life, good discussion geopolitics of period, very empathetic. find and enjoy
