Turning from a flank attack

In the picture above the cavalry have been charged in the flank (cavalry 3 to a base and NOT the cats 4 to a base).

The base contacted turns. But then what happens? I think that the base in contact moves backwards so staying in contact with the rest of the unit, with the infantry following (p61).
Then we fight the impact BUT what happens next? In normal circumstances, I think, that another base would turn behind the fighting base and the third base moved to be in side to side contact with the fighting base. But as there is no room for this ( as the cats are in the way) do I simply stay where I am?

This looks good but I am not sure it 'right'.

Hi Bob - why so many pseudonyms?

The rules on turning to face a flank attack start on page 60. I think you have followed them correctly.
