integrate new transport units ?

I need help with the following problem:
I have created a completely new equiment, all old data is deleted.
I would now like to introduce a new transport vehicle into play. This transport vehicle is to stand for the Infantry available.
in the equipment I've created the vehicle, with the Class 14. My Infantry has the entry in the column Usable transport "land"
if I place an Infantry in the editor and want to assign a transport vehicle I find no vehicle.
is strange, although I have deleted all the old data in the equipment appear the old transport vehicles from the original file to choose from.
can someone please write what I'm doing wrong?

Hello bayern, the editor is a bit strange with transport units. The unit parameters 'drop-down' menu will always show a list of the original transport units, but there is a solution.

If you start the editor, and use 'Edit' - 'Units' it will show a column of all available units on the left side of the screen. The program will read the list of available units from the location of the original equipment file (in the Panzer Corps/Data folder). Do your transport units show up in this list if you scroll through it? If they show up in the list, you can add them manually to any units on the map.

If you have already placed an infantry unit on the map, click on the small 'truck' button that switches the view to attached transport units (if the unit has any). Than select your transport unit from the list on the left, and click on the infantry unit. your unit should appear, and attach itself to the infantry unit automatically. You can press the right mouse button on the unit to remove any existing transport.

You could also try and give the new transport a distinct 'transport category' and then put that name in the 'useabale transports' column, for the units that you want to be able to use it.

It might be easier if you use excel to edit the equipment file, btw
