SE panzer units available in '39?

Hello all,

Back playing the grand campaign again. Got a specific question: Is it possible to get panzer SE units in 1939? I prefer SE units to be panzers, but repeated reloading never seems to yield an SE panzer unit?

The awarded SE units during Case White are always infantry units. SE Panzers appear from Operation Weserübung.
I always accept the infantry units up to the Oslo mission, then i start disbanding them to make room for SE Panzers.

The first available SE Panzer is the SE Pz IIIF and is only available since October '39, after the campaign in Poland.

If you look at the upgrade path for SE units, the lowest unit you can get is the Panzer III. Since it's not available until Norway, you can't get one until then no matter how may times you try.

There's a similar situation with infantry. The grenadiers - a personal favorite - aren't available until Norway as well. So, you have to wait until then to get one of those too. You can upgrade to one though. Pretty much the only thing you can hope for in '39 is an infantry unit.

Personally, I wind up keeping one infantry unit & selling the rest should they appear. Good luck!
