Burma MP

Post by Brenmusik »

Looks like another one has bitten the dust. The replay of turn 5*(vs. Erik) hung at what seemed it's end. No 'End Turn' or 'Cycle' buttons. I'll try to find a log file, but not having any luck - which is strange, because I could find them during Beta.
Edit *Make that turn 8

DId you purchase any British units? If yes, can you remember which one(s)?

I bought a Stuart and a mounted 2pdr a couple of turns ago. They passed through Kohima last turn.

Not that it is much use, I can open the chat box and options.

There is something weird going on. This evening Burma vs. Erik showed up again, same turn, with the same result. Has the Server got a life of it's own? I'm going to try Erik's PNG game, it has been up for several days with no takers. Looks like I'm the "Americans" ... where is an Aussie flag when you want one

For what its worth, I played Burma hot-seat for 10 turns without any problems.
Just wanted to check if there was anything weird happening with triggers/events.

Ten turns, sounds like a challenge  I'll post another game. Don't feel obliged to pick it up.

I'll take it, I'm interested to see if it fails on the same turn...

Burma fails opening turn 8. The usual, replay hangs. Didn't buy anything last turn.

OK, I have no clue what is wrong, but since this happens on different turns I suspect something related to multi-player.
I'll post something in the scenario forum. Maybe remove the scenario and post it again when the main game gets the next update. Then the proper Chinese may be added as well.
Sorry about the inconvenience.
