that will come, atm we are on turn one, when we get or if we get to turn 2, it will say turn 2

but at any time if you look at the top right corner, it displays a turn indicator which atm says 1 of 6, which means turn 1 of a 6 turn game

Incorrect; Not while you are placing orders.

I think It would be a good idea to place a 'turn' indicator while in the orders phase. I often times need a reminder (If I walk away from the game) of what turn it is.

this unit hardly ever misses, same as yours as there recon, so a good exchange is to take them out before they can take out other better units imo

treat the game as chess, study not the move you are making now, but where you wish to be in the next few moves, and yes it's that deep if your lucky, it doesn't always go to plan, and so doesn't chess

understand the board, the terrain, know the strength and weakness of the units, the bonus and minus scores, then take pot luck with a dice roll, and hopefully the score will become a hit, but not always, as even if you only need a 1 to miss, you can still roll a 1 three times in a row, if your luck is bad enough that is, been there tbh as well as 3 x 6's in a row

and also it's your turn again

Does that indicate turn one or two, three or four?
Please tell me where (on that same pic) there is any turn indicator (what current turn it is).

but no i see what you mean, it doesn't display the information on every screen all the time in every single one, your right, but is that really needed? if so suggest it, as if you want it, and others do to and it helps, why not i say

As far as Multiplayer games; why should I have to open up a new window to see what turn it is? Opening up a new window might make for mistakenly reloading the same game.

Would be a good Idea to put a turn marker on the game page (while placing order) don't you think?

Engaging in some of the long campaign games I walk away from the table and easily forget what turn it is while placing orders (critical if it is the end turn).

iv'e never needed it tbh, then again i've used it for so long it's become second nature same as any game i test, but if it helps you that's all that matters, ask, the worst they can say is no

at any one time i can have open 8 plus forum screens, be posting on any or all of them, and be testing as well, as i have 4 pc's in the room with me, and just about worn out me carpet with the wheels on my chair going backwards and forwards from one to the other

but it's your idea so post it anyway, good luck

Re: question

use it well, as it's a good tactics and will win you many a good score and points, don't tell everyone as some one has to be a champ, and i'm standing down, as i'm only the tester so unfair to go against everyone else, and i have other projects on so don't have the time to play either tbh, so this is a one and only match, enjoy it and i do hope all the dice rolls are in your favour

you learn well and quick, good move

i see now i'm in for a match 8)

remember learn not only what you see, but what the other side is planning, no move is a bluff unless it's a open bluff, i'll explain, if someone moves a unit into the open but the rest are in cover, they want you to take the shot, why?

as you only have so many shots per turn, so sometimes like chess, you throw a piece away to gain an advantage for another piece to get better ground or terrain or not be shot at, chose which piece is that piece and then whether to hit or suppress, a hit can miss, but a suppress has better odd's and can stop others from shooting or better still moving

the 2 hexes are in front of the box or hardpoint / block house what ever it's called can't be used by tanks, as if you blew up a tank in front of the exit / entry point you could block it and trap those in side or stop anyone until you removed the blown units, so the infantry unit i placed there is safe from tank overruns and is ready to block your unit once it comes out has it has to do, same as if you blow my tank, the wreck will slow you moves down, so placement and map knowledge is key, and a lucky roll or 2 helps

the assault had very poor odd's i wouldn't normally take them so low, but did it anyway and hoped i just would get lucky, the worst i've gone for and won is i think 10 or 12% + or minus some (can't remember) with a very lucky roll with there's being a very poor one, and if i leave my unit there you loose...

the Rock is a good one as he can move and shoot so either in this place is a good stopper for anyone in side, 2 hits to kill, with a high dice roll needed because of being a hero and clint if onboard is uber hard still

I never use Suppress, maybe I should look up the rules to see how it effects units

suppress can be a game stopper if used correctly and imo is one of the most or best to use in the right circumstances etc, i was winning a match once when another testers suppress me so much i couldn't move at all, 1 hex away from victory, so i lost as i didn't reach the objective and all he needed to do was stop me, he could have killed me, but the roll on a hero is better or easier to suppress and get than a hit which can miss most of the time...

also remember to be careful on what map and who you chose to play against, as those who have finished the game get more hero's unlocked and ready to use in match that those who don't

imo hero's win or make rogue easier and also can be a advantage in online if used right against normal units

try it as there's plenty of turns left?

you will need to be quick in a answer as it's my turn first and the tank will disable him?
