Scenario Mix Up

Post by alfamail »

I am playing the Woods Scenario in BA with Rockymonsoon. We have played three or four turns without obvious problem. However, when retireving/downloading my opponents latest move, even though it is still labelled Woods, the scenario has changed. It is not the Woods scenario. There is snow and air strike capability. Weird.

We will try rolling back the turn, it could be caused by the server issues over the weekend.

Cheers

All seems ok now on that particular game. Thank you. However, I am wondering if there is another problem. I have several games in which I am waiting for the opponent to make a move. I realise that not everyone is able or willing to move every day and sometimes they go on holiday etc. I also guess that in some games the opponent does not want to resign but is not enjoying being beaten either. However, I am in five or six multiplayer games where the games are only one or two moves in and I have been waiting for a week or two for the opponent to make a move. Is it possible that both I and my opponent are waiting for the next move? I have no evidence at all. But it seems weird that some games seem to whither away.

The other matches seems fine.. After some time you don't get back from them, you'll see a button to ask for a automatic victory in that match.

Thanks. I knew about the button for automatic victory but I would rather play the game. In the matches I am referring to there was absolutely no reason for the opponent to give up (no severe or outrageously unlucky losses, no trash talk). INTERESTINGLY since my post one of the dormant games has woken up. Is that a coincidence?
