I am afraid hot cavalry and my army do not often appear in the same sentence or paragraph for that matter.

Spotted Dog - away to the vets and get put down. I will pick up the bill and offer to do the injection for that matter.

Hot cav action, that doesn't sound good at all
Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Thank you everyone for the games and for the organisation. Really enjoyed it, apart from the realisation that I was taking an all cavalry army to assault Verdun in my last game! Ouch!
It appears I might have scored 20.6/80. A 116% improvement in my Campaign total!:D

Winners Central London (and Burton)

And Chris Beesley won the 'Bad Hair Day' competition (I think I heard that correctly)

Lost 3 out of 4, broken in 2 of them, and still walked away with a share of the overall team trophy after 6-6'ing Jim's general in the very last dice roll of the very last combat of the very last game to claw the extra point we needed .... !

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend and making the organisation stress free. Here are the results of the individual pools:

And here are the team results. Congratulations to Central London:

That's the closest finish we've had yet! Now to start thinking about my list for Warfare...

Big thank you to Kevin for all his hard work organising the FOG R competition. Thanks also to Derby Wargamers for putting on the Championships. Thank you to my 4 opponents - Tim, Paul, Denis and Ray for great friendly games.

Good evening gentlemen, ladies
The France team returned to the continent without problem.
I thank my opponents especially Will.
I hoped to see you all soon at a table and next year.

And thanks at all my opponents and in order : Ray, Tim W., Bob and Paul. And of course Kevin
