Is there an easy way to remove a transport (ie truck) from a unit?
I've tried all kinds of Ctrl/Alt etc click without any luck.

So far I just removed the whole unit, then added another. Not ideal, but works.Erik wrote:Is there an easy way to remove a transport (ie truck) from a unit?

Re: Editor: Removing transports
Yeah, I do that as well. But when you need to do it manually in 5-6 scenarios it gets boring
Funny though, you can move an air unit from a hangar and place it outside.

Hi--I know I'm not in the right link, but I'm new to wargaming and the website. I picked this particular subject I figured an "Editor" could help me. I cannot find a way to ask a question of Erik, so I would appreciate it if you could tell me how or forward the message below on to him. Thanks.

P.S. I tried to add my email address but was told to remove it, so I don't understand how I will get a reply.
Hi, Erik. I'm new to war games and OOB Pacific is my first. I'm having a great time playing against my Army Ranger son. I do have a question, however. We played the New Guinea mod and I was the Allied side. In my opinion, perhaps uninformed, I didn't have a chance. I was outnumbered in fighters and my bombers were virtually worthless--they could only do damage to the Japanese artillery. All action between infantry went against the Aussies, nearly by a factor of 50%. Is it possible to win with the Allied side and if so, how? Thanks very much.

I've played the Allies in this a couple of times against a very good player. With the recent changes to the scenario the Japanese do have a good change to win compared to earlier versions.trcgwc wrote:Hi--I know I'm not in the right link, but I'm new to wargaming and the website. This scenario will play very differently depending on the Allied/Japanese strategies.
As the Allies I would concentrate fighters in the Port Moresby area since this is were the Japanese have airfields nearby. Gili-Gili is far from Japanese bases and you seldom see much enemy airpower there. But the Japanese will be strong on the naval side at Gili-Gili.
Send most of your land reinforcements to PM, maybe a couple of AA units in addition to infantry. Your naval forces is better suited at Gili-Gili. Keep on the defense and try to withdraw infantry rather than shooting it out.
Your bombers at PM is best suited to attack Japanese artillery and lower their efficiency.
Hope this helps.
