not getting credit for killing vehicle in tutorial mission 5

Hi, just got the game on steam. Liking it so far. But I just won the tutorial mission #5 where the secondary objective is to kill the vehicle. In my first turn, the enemy vehicle moved next to my Clint hero and attacked. I followed up and assaulted the vehicle and destroyed it. Then later, I won the scenario but it only gave me a silver star claiming I didn't complete the secondary objective. Is this a bug or did I misunderstand the rules?

it seems if you kill it with clint in assault mode the game atm doesn't recognize the kill, it will be fixed in a update, if you kill it in any other way it does

Ok, so it seems that if you kill it with a grenade, the same thing happens. You only get the points for killing it with rifles not with equipment or a character.

umm, not. I just did the mission AGAIN! I made it a point to shoot the vehicle with a rifle. still no credit.

This is a bug that prevents players from completing the mission as described. It should have been fixed with a patch by now. What is the hold up, please?

Yes this patch works for all versions of the game. You dont need to download a patch, the game 'updates' scenarios from the internet. The update is very small (just a few kb)
