Any one else have these problems?

IN MULTIPLAYER....
1. Cannot resign from game. I simply cannot resign the game will not allow it.
2. Cannot claim a game, even though its long past the number of days required.
3. If you lose a game , the game tells you your a loser, no reason why just you lose. Then to add insult to injury it just hangs there, I have to bring up my task master and stop the game to get rid of the screen

You're not.
1) and 2) have been reported (several times). I really hope they will be fixed in the patch announced this week.
3) The scenario needs to be set up with something else than the default victory messages. For custom scenarios, blame the scenario designer (me )

To add to Erik's post, normally you lose when you don't reach all primary objectives. That should be visible in the msg box appearing at scn start, between turns or when you click the UI area on the bottom right showing turns/date.

But I agree, an event in the end would give a good sense of achievement.
